Job Description

The Manager will be part of the FP&A Business Intelligence (BI) team, which supports the FP&A Director and Assoc Dir. of PDX.
In this role, the Manager will be in constant contact with the FP&A Director, FP&A Assoc Dir, the US FP&A team and Finance Leads within the agencies of PDX.
The Manager will report to the Assoc Dir FP&A and Client Reporting of the East BI Hub.

Main responsibilities:
•    Manage a small team of FP&A Analysts
•    Promote efficiency and improvement to processes.
•    Ability to explain and translate financial reports to business finance leads. 
•    Prepare accurate and timely KPIs, financial results, and reforecasts or budgets to share and review with business finance leads.
•    Consolidate and gather relevant information to analyze and prepare forecasts and budget information.
•    Complex variance analysis of Actuals vs forecasting for all P&L line items, and Headcount.
•    Assist in preparing materials for the Agency Finance Leads, including reforecast decks, Actual Flash analysis, and short-term forecasts.
•    Working in coordination with the FPA Director on costs analysis, HFM organizational structure, developing, and maintaining positive relationships with agency finance leads.
•    Drive reporting accuracy and collaborate with other team members of the BI team.
•    Conduct ad-hoc analyses and support the PDX CFO and FP&A Director.
•    Client Profitability Reporting for Actuals and Reforecasts, which involves accurately reporting and analyzing client margins and providing agency finance leads insight on any client margin risks or opportunities.
 

Qualifications

Qualifications
Approx. 5-7 years’ work experience in work related experience in Corporate Finance, FP&A, and Audit.

• Fast learner and establish priorities, to maximize efficiency and collaborate with management to meet deadlines.
• Ability to establish positive collaboration with the PDX Finance Directors; US FP&A teams
• Ability to manage the work remotely as needed.
• Ability to navigate in a fast-paced environment and attention to details.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Excellent system, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good sense of urgency and ownership.
• Excel proficiency (Macros is a plus)
• HFM (Hyperion), Smartview or Essbase experience is required
• Proficient in Power Point PPT
• SalesForces is a plus

Compensation Range: $73,500-$123,500. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
