- Ability to follow and communicate lesson plans left by the permanent teacher.
- Ability to create a climate of respect and fairness for all students.
- Ability to establish and maintain appropriate classroom behavior/management.
- Willingness to be on call to cover absences of the regular teaching staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the school principal
Education and Experience: Applicants must have a valid Missouri Teacher certificate, a Missouri Substitute certificate, or 60 hours of college credit from an approved college and/or university.
Salary: $165.00 per day with substitute certification; $175.00 per day with teacher certification
Everyday Substitute Positions Available: 5-day and 4-day substitute teacher positions available
- Business Education 9-12
- Elementary Education K-5
- Middle School Education 6-8
** Effective September 1, 2016, newly hired personnel will be required to obtain a new fingerprint background check with the WGSD named Requesting Agency. Fingerprint instructions will be given after a successful interview. **
