Occupational Therapist

We are currently seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist at NCG Associates, you will have the opportunity to positively impact the lives of patients in need of occupational therapy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional capabilities
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient goals
• Implement therapeutic exercises and activities to enhance patients' fine motor skills, coordination, and independence
• Train patients in the use of adaptive equipment and assistive devices to support their daily activities
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and holistic patient care
• Educate patients and their families on techniques to promote independence and improve their overall quality of life
• Monitor and document patient progress, and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in occupational therapy through continuous professional development

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Prior experience working as an Occupational Therapist is preferred
• Strong understanding of occupational therapy techniques, assessments, and interventions
• Ability to assess and evaluate patient needs and develop customized treatment plans
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passionate about making a positive difference in patients' lives
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
• Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support)

Pay Rate: $1,760 Weekly @40hrs

Length of Assignment:  13 weeks

Hours per Week: 40

Schedule Details: Morning 8:00am-4:30pm

License Required: OT License

Certificate Required: BLS Certification
