Job Description
As a member of our Global Vegetables & Flowers leadership team, you will lead the improvement and development of our commercial capabilities across regions and markets while driving the digital transformation of our commercial organization to foster a data-driven culture. In this role, you will:
- Lead and set the direction for the sustainable development and continuous improvement of commercial capabilities globally, aiming to increase customer satisfaction and support business outcomes as defined by the global and regional business strategies.
- Drive the digital transformation of the commercial organization and foster a data-driven culture, leveraging the latest technologies and tools to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and innovation.
- Serve as a member of the VOLT (Vegetables and Ornamentals Leadership Team) and collaborate with other senior leaders to align the commercial vision and strategy with the overall business objectives and priorities.
- Manage and develop a diverse and talented team of sales and marketing professionals, providing them with coaching, feedback, and recognition.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including customers, partners, suppliers, and industry associations.
- Provides support for key commercial projects to enable global consistency / efficiency and strong leadership to the team for building strong connection to each region and function.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 10+ years of experience in commercial roles spanning sales and marketing, preferably in the agriculture or related industries.
- Effective management of high-performing teams and successful stakeholder engagement across all management levels in the organization.
- Implementation of major change programs across all parts of the business organization and ability to inspire people.
- Ability to work in a complex region across different countries, businesses, and cultures, and adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs.
- Proven agronomy excellence and applying capabilities to support commercial operations.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in business, marketing, agriculture, or related fields.
- Ability to travel up to 80%
