About the SAP Internship Experience Program:
The SAP Internship Experience Program is SAP’s global, strategic, paid internship program that provides university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers.
Three reasons to intern at SAP:
1. Culture of collaboration: meet with mentors, make new friends across the globe and create a thriving personal network.
2. Project-driven experience: gain cross-functional skills from our virtual and in-person learning sessions, diverse subject matter experts, and project deliverables.

About the team:
The SAP HANA Cloud team develops a cloud-native database platform that performs parallel in-memory processing of huge data sets. The system offers extremely fast real-time responses for analytic and transactional queries. The HANA platform also provides libraries for predictive, planning, text processing, spatial, and business analytics – all on the same architecture.
Within this team, the HANA Database Campus is exploring potential future directions, performance optimizations, and novel topics to further advance the HANA platform. The Campus is connected to several of the leading research groups of international universities and regularly publishes papers at conferences such as SIGMOD, VLDB, ICDE, EDBT, BTW and others.
The HANA Database Campus also organizes regular Open House Days that provide a venue for researchers, students, and industry practitioners to connect, see e.g. https://youtu.be/ddeAhl8HD08?si=meU5TnG1r0Ee7wQB
