Worker Designation – This role is hybrid. This means you will be expected to report to one of our Aflac offices located at 100 Wall Street New York, NY 10005 for at least 60% of the work week. You will work from your home (within the continental US) for the remaining portion of the work week. Details of this schedule will be discussed with your leadership.

Education & Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems or related field
• Zero to two years of programming experience

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain customer-facing applications in line with company requirements

 

• Implement test-driven development best practices

 

• Adhere to coding standards for resilience, data, and security

 

• Design, test, develop, maintain customer-facing applications in line with company requirements to meet the needs of the business

 

• Reviews system requirements and business processes; codes, tests, debugs and implements software solutions

 

• Working closely with cross-functional departments to communicate project statuses and proposals

 

• Performs other duties as required

The salary range for this job is $68,000 - $95,000. This range is specific to the job and salary offers consider a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and peer compensation.
