Position Description:
The mid-level Technical Program Manager will be a key contributor within our A&AS support team for DTRA’s Combat Support (CZ) Directorate, providing highly skilled expertise and support around counterthreat strategies, strategic trends and insights, and emerging threat planning. DTRA CZ leads DTRA’s wargaming efforts to assist the Agency and its supported customers in responding to the challenges and priorities set forth in the National Defense Strategy as well as informing the Agency’s operations, activities, and investments to maximize support of warfighting customers.

The Technical Program Manager will support CWMD and CBRNE wargaming integration, planning, execution, and utilization through development of highly tailored documentation and deliverables, as well as on-the-ground participation in events, working groups, interagency activities, and DTRA CZ mission initiatives.


Location & Travel:
This is a full-time position based in Fort Belvoir, VA with 5% travel expected.

A qualified candidate will perform the following duties and responsibilities, but are not limited to:
•Knowledgeable in Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD), including planning support and assessments to more effectively synchronize DTRA’s CWMD mission
•Assist with planning support and assessments of CWMD wargaming events, working groups, and problem solving
•Confer with managers to obtain additional information or to interpret policies and procedures related to change wargaming requirements, planning, execution, and documentation
•Prepare reports and documentation related to options and to change wargaming integration and results utilization

Security Clearance Requirement:
•Active/current TS/SCI clearance is required

Required Qualifications:
•Bachelors’ degree required
•A minimum of 8+ years of relevant professional exp
