We’re seeking an experienced Strategic Partnerships Lead to join our Product & Innovation Hub who will develop and drive a comprehensive partnerships strategy that enhances growth, fosters innovation, and creates mutual value for the organization and its partners. The successful candidate will identify and cultivate relationships with key strategic partners, negotiate agreements, and define frameworks to develop collaborative opportunities. This role will be located in New York, NY – Hybrid

 

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

 

• Develop and implement a strategic partnerships plan that aligns with the company’s overall goals, objectives, and strengths
• Identify, prioritize, and establish relationships with partners to drive business growth and innovation, understanding BNY’s strengths and central positions and where partners can amplify growth opportunities
• Review and negotiate partnership agreements, including contractual and financial terms
• Define the framework for building capabilities via partnerships, acquisitions, or joint ventures
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless integration and execution of partnership initiatives
• Leverage partnerships to unlock new revenue streams, improve operational efficiency, and enhance profitability
• Identify opportunities for co-development of new products, services, or solutions with partners
• Maintain strong relationships with key partners through regular reviews and strategic planning discussions
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends, industry dynamics, and emerging partnership opportunities
• Work with internal stakeholders to pinpoint areas for cost reduction and operational improvements through partnerships
• Track and measure partnership success using key performance indicators (KPIs)

 

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking:

 

• Proven experience in leading strategic partnership initiatives
• Deep understanding of market trends, industry dynamics, and emerging technologies
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to develop data-driven strategies and make informed decisions
• Experience in achieving revenue growth, enhancing profitability, and improving efficiency through partnerships
• Established industry network and ability to leverage professional relationships
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, marketing, and technology
• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights
• Experience in budget management and tracking ROI on partnership investments
• MBA preferred
