As a Production Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Providing direct supervision to assigned employees through leadership, coaching, training, development, allocating work assignments, and utilizing performance feedback.
• Leading team members working on defined work crews with varied schedules
• Planning daily work schedules, determining priorities, allocating work assignments, and regulating production processes to meet specific daily production requirements.
• Meeting plant and department objectives in the areas of safety, quality, service, productivity, and employee engagement.
• Supporting shift administration activities such as time reporting, attendance control, vacation planning, overtime, etc.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND two (2) years of manufacturing and/or production experience in a private, public, government or military environment.

OR

• High School Diploma/GED from AND six (6) years of manufacturing and/or production experience in a private, public, government or military environment.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Experience as a Radiation Safety Officer
• Experience in supervision of direct hourly reports
• Lean Six Sigma and/or CI (Continuous Improvement) experience
• Knowledge of computer programs
• Knowledge of Solventum corporate systems relevant to Plant Operations
• Demonstrated success working in a cross-functional team environment and excellent communication skills (oral, written, and presentation)

Work location: Onsite in Brookings, SD

Travel: May include up to 2% domestic
