What do we need  

We are looking for a Principal Project Manager to manage complex Scientific SaaS delivery & implementations projects, to ensure that our clients are reaching their desired outcomes and adopting our solutions. The structure of projects are like other large scale enterprise deployments but centre around enabling Customers to use configured software within their business area of expertise. 

You will be in a unique position to leverage your advanced  in-depth SaaS Implementation/delivery skills, processes management, and interpersonal skills across many clients, ranging from the top pharmaceutical companies in the world to the leading food providers, and start-ups focused on ultra-rare diseases. You will be an advocate of Dotmatics, engaging stakeholders ranging from bench scientists up to C-level executives to effectively communicate Actions, Owners, Timelines, to balance risks and have the right conversations to protect, propose, and allow science to prosper.

In this role you will get to

  • Develop, plan and manage the implementation of technically complex and challenging Customer projects across disparate organizations in line with the Dotmatics project lifecycle using agile methodologies and hybrid-agile approaches.
  • Lead full cycle project delivery for enterprise level SaaS software
  • Manage complex technical & digital transformation programmes
  • Develop project objectives, by identifying requirements and barriers to projects, including cost, time, scope, and resources.
  • Resolve complex business problems. Solutions involve proof of concept or industry first projects/issues and encompass all aspects of the project, g. equipment, business processes, vendor management, technical implementation, deployment and training
  • Ensure the project is compliant with relevant standards, regulatory requirements and contractual agreements while suggesting and coordinating  system improvements
  • Provide overall leadership to team leads and project staff both intra- and inter-company.
  • Advocate for Dotmatics’ interests by working closely with Services Consultants, Developers, Product Management, Leadership, Legal, Sales and other Customer Operations functions ensuring overall success of the project(s)
  • Prepare and present internal and external executive briefings, including recommendations for executive action
  • Manage of project expenditures, both capital and expense and partnering with finance to ensure timely and accurate service invoicing for projects
  • Lead the creation of proposals and estimates for Service Delivery projects from project extensions with existing customers to working on new proposals with Sales and Pre-Sales

We are looking for people who hold 15+ years experience in SaaS Enterprise implementation/delivery projects, hold a Project Management Certification such as PMP, and be a Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or equivalent. You will demonstrate experience in successfully setting up agile project deliveries and be able to demonstrate experience of managing SaaS configuration projects throughout their life cycle.
