Senior Technical Recruiter

Motional, a company at the forefront of autonomous technology, is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Recruiter to join their Talent Acquisition team in Pittsburgh, PA. This hybrid role will focus on leading the recruitment efforts for the Perception & Prediction team, which plays a vital role in bringing autonomous vehicles to market at scale. As the Senior Technical Recruiter, you will have the opportunity to partner with and advise talented engineers within the team, guiding them through the entire recruitment and hiring process.

 Your key responsibilities will include:

• Acting as a trusted recruitment subject matter expert, applying best practices for the full recruitment life cycle and strategic talent acquisition.
• Leading key stakeholder updates, interview kickoff meetings, and providing valuable feedback throughout the active search process.
• Serving as a technology recruiting expert, coaching leaders to enhance their talent assessment skills and become effective brand ambassadors during the search process.
• Managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from job postings and candidate sourcing to conducting interviews, making selection decisions, and overseeing the onboarding of new hires. You will ensure a best-in-class candidate experience.
• Conducting ongoing research on the competitive landscape and market trends in technology expertise and demographics to stay up-to-date and relevant.
• Conducting phone, on-site, and virtual interviews to assess candidates effectively.
• Documenting candidate screens and adapting to Motional's existing processes while providing recommendations for continuous improvements.

To excel in this role, you should bring the following qualifications:

• 5+ years of progressive corporate and/or search firm recruiting experience with a focus on passive engineering/Machine Learning candidate generation in a high-tech market.
• Proven experience as a technical recruiter, ideally within the autonomous technology industry.
• In-depth knowledge of the full recruitment life cycle and expertise in strategic talent acquisition.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills to effectively collaborate with engineers and scientists.
• Familiarity with technology recruiting practices, including sourcing and evaluating technical talent. 
• Experienced using Data to advice key stakeholders
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple hiring processes simultaneously.
• Strong awareness of market trends, competitive landscape, and best practices in technology recruiting.
• Proficiency in conducting different types of interviews, such as phone, on-site, and virtual interviews.
• Meticulous attention to detail and excellent documentation skills.
• Should be well versed in using Google Apps (Drive, Docs, Gmail, Calendar, Google+)
• Must have a team-first mindset.

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors including but not limited to specific skills, experience and expertise, role location, certifications, licenses, and business needs.
