The Opportunity

Lonestar Forklift is looking for a Preventative Maintenance Technician to join our team in Garland, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for machinery repair tasks required by our loyal customers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities 

As the Preventative Maintenance Technician for Lonestar, your key responsibilities will include:  

  • Perform planned maintenance and safety inspections on a variety of material handling equipment for customers
  • Conduct tasks assigned from the Dispatcher, maintaining communication and providing updates as needed
  • Actively communicate with the Parts department via phone or email to ensure required parts are ordered
  • Maintain proper documentation as needed

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:  

  • Previous experience in a related industry
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with external customers and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to travel to customer sites within the local region
  • Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
