Assists DCM Business Office, Facility Management, and Leadership Team with oversight, data collection, census, billing, and regulatory compliance for all Investigators with IACUC-approved protocols.Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collects data that will be used for census management, space planning, and billing.
- Maintains adequate supplies of forms for the tracking and generation of bar code labels for protocol identification and census management.
- Organizes and performs technical duties, such as preparation, maintenance, and distribution of materials, devices, and equipment.
- Completes activation of new orders, deactivation of terminated studies and troubleshoots all issues with cage card generation and split/wean tracking.
- Enters information into the computer or onto data forms, generates tables, reports, statistics or computations.
- Maintains department records, reports, inventory and files as required.
- Trains on various aspects of primary duties.
- Assists the investigator in identifying trends and educational needs.
- Assists with care and maintenance of department equipment and supplies.
- Assists husbandry staff when needed, as assigned by supervisor.
- May perform data collection and management of data forms in ABSL 2 and 3 spaces.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Will regularly travel to different buildings on campus and cross-train to cover absences of other DA staff.

$17.87 - $27.06 / HourlyThe salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University.
