Provides guidance and shares knowledge with team members ensuring efficient operation of the function.<p></p><p></p><p></p><p>Working at NTT</p><p>The role of the Senior director is to manage multiple business projects of varying complexity for the business.  This role will require gathering, analysing complex business and financial information, developing recommendations and tailor-made solutions, getting the buy-in from key stakeholders and owning the execution with the sole purpose of achieving their strategic goals and business requirements.</p><p>Key role and responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Provides high-level strategic advice and business acumen to management stakeholders on how NTT can grow and increase profitability</li><li>Establishes and builds effective relationships at all levels of the organisation within NTT and with partners and is seen as a trusted advisor</li><li>Undertakes detailed analysis of the business area to review performance and identify opportunities for recovery and/or growth</li><li>Proactively monitors and acts on industry trends to identify opportunities and threats to the business model</li><li>Actively strengthens subject matter expertise through on-the-job experience, participating in external events and forums to constantly refresh knowledge and insights that could affect the success of business operations</li><li>Undertake detailed analysis of competitors so that appropriate strategies can be developed to stay ahead of the competition and mitigate risks</li><li>Analyse market trends to identify technological developments and advances to determine which products and/or services will be most profitable for NTT to invest in and make suitable recommendations</li><li>Partners with senior stakeholders to develop and execute medium-term to long-term strategic plans to deliver business objectives and results</li><li>May recommend changes such as modifications to organisational structures or business processes etc. that will provide performance improvement, business efficiencies and sustainable results</li><li>Provide guidance and share knowledge with team members and colleagues and participate in performing activities especially focusing on complex and specialized areas that require detailed analysis and good decision making</li><li>Proactively shares subject matter expertise with others to elevate our capabilities to deliver world-class products, services, and solutions for our clients</li></ul><p>Knowledge, skills, and attributes:</p><ul><li>Possesses a detailed and thorough understanding of the technology and business solutions sector</li><li>Exceptional communication skills with proven capability to engage with senior leaders and stakeholders</li><li>Demonstrates excellent project management standards with exceptional client influencing and relationship building abilities</li><li>Superior analytical, quantitative, and conceptual thinking skills to analyse a situation in order to find the best solution</li><li>Provides a high-level strategic input to providing recommendations, improvements, and alternative solutions to challenging and often complex problems</li><li>Seen as a trusted advisor internally with an established network and understanding within the industry</li><li>Demonstrates excellent strategic thinking ability and high levels of integrity</li><li>Possesses strong business acumen and proven planning and organisational skills</li><li>Solid knowledge and experience of consulting methodologies, tools, and techniques</li><li>Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire others, build strong relationships and create a collaborative working environment</li></ul><p>Academic qualifications and certifications:</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a field such as Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or engineering</li><li>Master’s degree preferred in a field such as Business Administration, Finance, or Economics</li></ul><p>Required experience:</p><ul><li>Demonstrated experience in a similar role gained within an information technology environment</li><li>Previous experience in a consulting firm is essential</li><li>Experience working within a global matrixed organisation</li><li>Demonstrated experience in delivering strategic projects and the successful outcomes of those projects</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p></p><p>What will make you a good fit for the role?</p><p></p><p>Equal Opportunity Employer</p><p>NTT is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer with a global c
