The Director, Chief of Staff is a meaningful role in the Marketing organization, reporting to the Global Chief Marketing Officer. This person will interact with all levels of the organization as well as internal and external partners. The role will partner with cross-functional leads across Marketing to crystallize, enable and implement global marketing strategies. The Chief of Staff will drive the agenda for key strategy meetings to gain alignment and to share business performance with multiple audiences, including Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), CMO Global All Hands, and Board meetings. This person will act as representative, ensuring the CMO is advised of all priority projects, escalation issues, upcoming events, commitments and responsibilities with appropriate and timely follow-up
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the CMO to coordinate strategic planning, reporting, and execution
- Support the CMO through ongoing Chief of Staff responsibilities including driving planning, establishing the agenda, supervising material development and running key staff meetings, assisting with team communications and representing the CMO in meetings as needed
- Lead and organize content creation for key documents, including board decks, monthly business reviews, QBRs
- Supervise and lead additional ad-hoc strategic projects that span across multiple CMO functions
- Analyze large amounts of information and data quickly and effectively to reduce complexity and make concrete recommendations
- Own internal marketing run-the-business and planning process, collaborating with the Communications department and CMO leadership team to ensure there is a clear cadence, format, and decisioning process on what and how to communicate
- Provide department leaders with recommendations and consultation to improve collaboration across the organization
Experience:
- 5-7 years minimum of relevant marketing experience
- Confirmed excellence guiding successful executives / teams of executives in working together to achieve company and/or business unit goals
- Strong communication skills with ability to build connections, influence and collaborate internally and externally, at all organizational levels
- Excellent executive communication skills; previous experience with board & executive communications a plus
- Strong project reporting skills, with a focus on interdepartmental communication
- Strong financial savvy and understanding of marketing “metrics-that-matter”
- Tried experience in driving processes and projects
- Exceptional organizational skills; ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks seamlessly

Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary. This role does not have a variable compensation component.
The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below. In select locations (including Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, the San Francisco Bay Area CA, and the New York City Metro Area), an alternate range may apply as specified below.
These ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future.
An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
