Typical Responsibilities of a Technical Project Manager
- Manage the internal project scope of work, timeline, and change orders.
- Manage the workload and resources needed on a portfolio of projects.
- Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule and work plan.
- Understand Lifecycle management for Quality Applications.
- Manage internal and/or client management activities for assigned projects.
- Identify and address complex technical issues and resourcing.
- Support team members; acting as the liaison to the client for discussing changes in scope of work and timeline.
- Provide frequent/ clear concise project updates to internal/external customers.
- Utilize problem solving skills to drive solutions to equipment/process issues, including FMEA and root cause analysis methodology.
- Interface with vendors to ensure delivery of materials, components and documents on-time and to technical specifications.
- Accountable for document and resource planning.
This position is 100% onsite in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience with Project Management in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively.
- Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Effective in multitasking, managing time and prioritizing projects to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills and exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Desired Skills / Certifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- Experience in cGMP-regulated industry: pharmaceutical/ biotech/ medical devices.
- Extensive experience with Wrike project management application or equivalent tool.
- Experience with serialization preferred.
