Millennium Physician Group is seeking to hire a full-time Regional Integration Manager to join the Medical Office teams. This position is remote, but does require you to live in Southwest Florida. We are looking for a new team member who is positive, energetic, well-organized, can multi-task, and think outside of the box. The Regional Integration Manager is responsible for coordinating communications with new provider practices and their staff, as well as the proper departments involved in an acquisition in order to have a smooth and efficient onboarding to Millennium. S/he is fundamentally aligned with a keen patient/physician centric focus. S/he manages all day to day operations and planning in order to prepare a new office for their go-live with Millennium. S/he will maintain new physician needs while also considering patient service levels, maximum schedule utilization for go-live and beyond, accessibility and assuring all Care Team members provide a superior patient experience.
The Regional Integration Manager will also be responsible for providing on-site clinical support to a new practice or physician after onboarding to Millennium. S/he provides guidance and support for all clinical operations to maximize workflows, for EMR utilization both clinically and for reporting guidelines, i.e., Meaningful Use and other Quality Measures. S/he ensures billing and coding are captured at time of service. S/he communicates with the implementation team regarding additional needs and ensures that they are met timely and effectively. S/he educates and monitors clinical staff to be sure they understand and follow proper procedures regarding sterilization, equipment calibration, operation and maintenance as well as OSHA and Biomedical waste/hazard precautions. S/he educates staff on in-house capture of all Ancillary services provided by MPG including Imaging, Lab, Physical Therapy, Pharmacy, Home Health, Diabetes Education, and various ACO programs. S/he ensures smooth transition and integration to ensure timely ramp up in production and revenue.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensures provider/staff are following correct documentation guidelines for various visit types.
- Assists provider/staff with capturing of annual wellness visits.
- Assures all requirements for Meaningful Use and Quality Measures are being met.
- Provides guidance and support for correct ordering of MPG Labs and Imaging.
- Ensures coding and billing are being captured at time of service.
- Manages issues with clinical inboxes and workflow dashboard; provides further education on how to handle these correctly.
- Monitors provides/staff for readiness to advance towards post-live accelerator builds discerning readiness and additional training needs as required.
- Ensures that all processes are being performed correctly and monitors areas of possible additional education, training, IT support and equipment needs.
- Communicates with the implementation team on additional needs and ensures that they are met timely and effectively.
- Ensures best practice workflows are followed and observes areas where change may be needed.
- Monitors clinical staff to ensure they understand and follow proper procedures for Autoclave sterilization, calibrating all of the office medical equipment, biohazard, medication and specimen refrigerator logs and documentation.
- Educates and encourages staff on in-house capture of the different services provided by MPG including Pharmacy, Home Health, Physical Therapy, Diabetes Education, Lab, Imaging and the various ACO programs.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree preferred or Associate's at minimum. 2-4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position directly supervises new practice staff after onboarding to Millennium. After (6) weeks the new practice will be ready to transfer under Operations. This individual will carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
