Project Accountant (all genders)

Your future tasks:

• Financial Reporting & Compliance: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS, ensuring data integrity, general ledger reconciliation, and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

• Financial Analysis & Forecasting: Provide P&L and balance sheet analysis, variance explanations, and support cash flow forecasting and project funding requirements.

• Project Accounting & Collaboration: Work with project management, controlling, procurement, and contract management to ensure accurate cost allocation, milestone payments, invoice approvals, and project cost tracking.

• Audit & Stakeholder Management: Act as key contact for auditors, tax consultants, and internal stakeholders, supporting audits, compliance, documentation, and intercompany clarifications.

• Team Support & Closing Activities: Provide guidance to junior accounting team members and assist in month-end and year-end closing, including audit preparation and documentation.

Your profile:

• You have a university degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or completed commercial training with further relevant qualifications.

• Ideally
  you bring a certified accountant qualification (not mandatory).

• You have approx. 8–10 years of professional experience in finance or accounting, preferably in an international, project-based environment.

• You have strong closing expertise
  in accordance with HGB and IFRS and solid basic tax knowledge.

• You proved your experience in project accounting and financial reporting.

• Experience in the energy, wind, construction, or infrastructure sector is a strong advantage.
