Warehouse Material Handler

Position Overview:

This position is responsible for tracking, loading, unloading, sorting, staging and /or transporting

products into and out of a warehouse

Job Description:

• Processes customer orders by pulling materials, packing boxes and placing orders in delivery area.

• Manage inventory per established work practices.

• Verifies materials and supplies received from vendors including documentation of transactions into computerized control systems.

• May operate forklift or other machinery to load, unload, sort, stage and transport product.

• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work environment by placing product in correct location and keeping area free of debris.

• Participates in inventory records verification and maintenance and in cycle count procedures.

• Interacts with shipping companies, purchasing, customer services and/or branch management.

• Works closely with local operations team supporting day to day operations of the Hillsboro site as required.

Off-hours accessibility (laptop and cell phone) is occasionally required. After hour call-ins are occasionally required.

Qualifications:

• Qualified candidate must possess good leadership, problem solving, communication, organizational skills and must be able work without constant supervision. Must be a team player and be able to interact with the local operations team to support its goals.

• High School Degree required

• 2+ years’ experience in a plant or manufacturing environment is desired

• Strong technical or mechanical background desired

• Strong Computer skills expected. Microsoft Excel and Word Proficient

• Forklift experience

• JDE and EAM skills preferred
