The Marketing Director, Consumer-Directed Health is responsible for creating the Empower value proposition and demand generation for this high-visibility product vertical. This individual will partner with other marketing teams in the development of value proposition, sales systems, and marketing materials for B2B audiences. This individual is also responsible for creating participant-facing campaigns and education, aligned with the key activities related to consumer-directed products including HSA, FSA, HRA, Commuter Benefits, Lifestyle Accounts, and more. Critical audiences include benefit decision makers, consultants/advisors, and participant audiences. The success measure of this role is tightly aligned to the achievement of sales goals and overall satisfaction; the role will partner with other marketing professionals and be supported by our internal creative agency.
What you will do:
- Identify key provider selection priorities for plan sponsors/benefits and compensation executive decision makers, advisors and consultants
- Partner closely with Product Development, Sales, and Service teams for opportunities to innovate and evolve the product offer
- Gather marketplace feedback and insights; respond efficiently to requests or ideas that can drive results
- Establish a market-leading narrative, value proposition, and messaging, including connection to thought leadership content, and integrate into workplace sales story
- Design and execute multi-channel acquisition strategies, for both new business and existing workplace clients
- Effectively partner with participant marketing team and personal wealth team to develop a campaign calendar that integrates with other workplace campaign touchpoints
- Integrate personalized campaigns into Empower’s sophisticated multi-channel campaign engine
- Create compelling packaging programs with a focus on digital execution
- Seek and interpret data analytics and develop case studies to validate results and support sales
- Develop sophisticated, cost-effective multi-media selling systems; train sales teams on their effective use
- Measure effectiveness across a variety of dimensions to continuously refine prospect and participant engagement
- Evaluate and manage return on marketing investment
What you will bring:
- 10+ years of product/marketing management, preferably in retirement services, workplace benefits, or related financial services
- Understanding of competitive marketplace
- Familiarity with the latest marketing trends and technologies
- Strategic planning skills
- FINRA fingerprinting required
