About the role
Seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our Outpatient Rehabilitation Services team. The PTA will work under the supervision of licensed Physical Therapists to provide therapeutic treatments, assist with patient care plans, and support patients in achieving their functional goals.
Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:
- New clinicians considered
- Excellent communication skills
- Follows practice guidelines
- Able to interpret patient status and adapt treatment plan accordingly; communicate patient issues directly with Primary therapist
- Able to document patient progress accurately and timely in EMR
- Able to prioritize work tasks
- Able to treat wide variety of diagnoses
- Able to communicate and collaborate with interdisciplinary care team members
Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:
- Prior outpatient orthopedic experience preferred but not required
Educational Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Associates Degree program
License/Certification:
- MA License
- CPR
