This position is designated as work-from-home/remote.

Essential Functions & Duties:

• Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure effective management, operations, and maintenance of systems and networks. Optimize system performance and reliability through strategic initiatives.
• Manage and lead a team of system administrators. Assign tasks, prioritize work, and ensure the team meets operational goals and deadlines.
• Identify high-risk and critical problems within systems and networks. Allocate resources effectively to address and resolve these issues promptly.
• Oversee the operation of a wide variety of systems and networks, including high volume and high availability systems. Ensure systems are operating efficiently and securely.
• Dedicate appropriate resources to address complex and high-priority issues, ensuring minimal impact on system performance and availability.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, management plans, and incident resolutions. Provide regular reports on system performance and team activities to senior management.
• Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices. Recommend and implement improvements to enhance system and network management.

Required Skills, Qualifications and Certifications:

• Extensive knowledge and experience in managing a wide variety of systems and networks, including high volume and high availability systems.
• Proven ability to create and implement effective plans for system and network management, operations, and maintenance.
• Experience in managing and leading teams of system administrators, with strong skills in task prioritization and resource allocation.
• Expertise in identifying and resolving high-risk and critical issues, with the ability to dedicate resources appropriately.
• Proficiency in maintaining detailed documentation and providing comprehensive reports on system performance and team activities

Desired Certifications & Technical Stack:

• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, CompTIA Server+, or similar certifications are highly desirable.
• Advanced knowledge of various systems, networks, and high availability solutions.
• Experience managing projects related to system and network management, including planning, execution, and delivery.
• Commitment to staying current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and provide clear guidance to team members.

Required Citizenship or Work Authorization: US Citizen. Ability to obtain Public Trust.

Required Education & Experience: 5 years of experience and a bachelor's degree in a computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline. 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.

Compensation for roles at Synergy varies depending on a wide variety of factors including but not limited to the requirements of the role; education and certifications; knowledge, training, skills and abilities; level of experience; geographic location; and alignment with market data, law, and other business and organizational needs. As required by local law, the posted pay range represents the lowest to the hig
