Your key responsibilities:
•    Develop and implement global category strategy for a top spend raw material; 
•    Maintain and communicate market insights, short- and long-term price trends and supply/demand scenarios, based on intense market intelligence activities; 
•    Prepare and lead fact-based negotiations, supplier selection and contracting process;
•    Manage procurement initiatives in close alignment with involved cross-functional stakeholders and procurement community;
•    Account management for Key suppliers and external partners. Develop and manage these relationships with key suppliers and track their performance including contract management; 
•    Contribute to the dsm-firmenich Direct strategy development;
•    Improve and reinforce the dsm-firmenich Direct Procurement profile and recognition within the internal stakeholder community;
•    Work broadly with cross-functional stakeholders on various value and efficiency improvement initiatives and projects.

You bring:
•    BSc degree in a relevant expertise area, MSc degree preferred;
•    10 years+ expertise in either Procurement and/or broader Business context of Category management or related commercial functions;
•    Strategic thinking & creativity, collaboration excellence;
•    Thorough negotiation and influencing skills and able to engage others, able to navigate through matrix work environment;
•    Data analytics and ability to gather business intelligence;
•    Responsible, accountable and results-driven; 
•    Experience in Chemicals / Flavors and Fragrance materials is an asset;
•    Fluent in English (C1) and French, (C1) any other language a plus.
