Systems Engineer Cloud

Job Summary: 

•Professional Exemption: Perform job duties that require specialized education and exercising discretion and judgment

•Works under general guidance or directions from Director of Infrastructure or other leadership; Self-directed work on projects and other assignments

Essential Duties 

•Mastered skills required for System Engineer Cloud I

•Manage the Cloud (Azure) environment and technical platform

•Performing high-level root-cause analysis for service interruption recovery and creating preventive measures

•Managing, monitoring, and maintaining company systems

•Making requested changes, updates and modifications to systems and data

•Ensuring system  integrity, stability, and system availability

•Maintaining backup and recovery infrastructure Manage life cycle management of all physical and virtual hardware in cloud environment

•Install, Configure, and Manage Windows Servers/Clusters in cloud environment

Minimum Requirements:

•6+ years in IT field with 4+ years experience as a systems or network administrator or engineer

•Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field required

•Certification in Virtualization, or Cloud provider preferred

•Strong written and verbal communication skills

•Strong interpersonal skills

•Excellent troubleshooting skills

•Experience administering virtual servers in a Microsoft centric hybrid Azure cloud environment

•Knowledge of software development life cycle.

•Knowledge of programming languages and web-based technologies.

•Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

•Broad knowledge of cloud computing concepts and solutions

•Knowledge of infrastructure management within a cloud environment

•Knowledge of cloud delivery models
