The Regional Security Adviser (RSA) will serve as a key member of the Americas Regional Security Team, reporting directly to the Head of Regional Corporate Security, Americas. Based in Manassas, Virginia, the RSA will play a pivotal role in strengthening the security framework across two major operational hubs and multiple remote offices within the region. This position is responsible for overseeing guard force operations, supporting the execution of complex, large-scale security initiatives and ensuring compliance with organizational security policies and standards. The RSA will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to maintain a safe and resilient operational environment.

What to Expect:

In this role you will: 

Guard Force Management:

  • Oversee daily operations of contracted and in-house guard force
  • Ensure compliance with security protocols, training standards, and performance benchmarks
  • Conduct regular audits, inspections, and performance reviews of guard services
  • Consult with local law enforcement and emergency services to maintain strong external security partnerships

Security Project Support:

  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing major security infrastructure projects
  • Provide technical input and operational support for upgrades to physical security systems (e.g., CCTV, access control, perimeter defenses)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security integration in new initiatives and expansions

Risk Assessment & Mitigation:

  • Support the Regional Security Adviser in conducting threat and risk assessments
  • Recommend and implement mitigation strategies tailored to site-specific needs
  • Monitor regional developments and provide timely security advisories

Training & Capacity Building:

  • Develop and deliver training programs for guard personnel and site staff
  • Promote a culture of security awareness and preparedness across the region

Reporting & Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, audits and project milestones
  • Prepare regular reports for regional leadership and contribute to strategic planning

What will make you successful:

We are seeking professionals with:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate or government security operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Alternatively, equivalent professional qualifications obtained through accredited security organizations such as ASIS International, The Security Institute, or through formal training in Military or Law Enforcement settings will be considered
  • Proven experience managing guard forces and supporting large-scale security projects
  • Strong understanding of physical security systems and emergency response protocols
  • Excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fluent in Spanish

The estimated salary range for a new hire in this position in Virginia is $101,303.00 USD Annual MINIMUM to $188,135.00 USD Annual MAXIMUM. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
