SENIOR CLOUD ENGINEER at Vitestro

As a Senior Cloud Engineer you will build Vitestro's Cloud and establish the device's external connections with the Vitestro Cloud and with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) of hospitals and laboratories.
These connections enable capabilities such as:

• Remote monitoring
• Data analysis
• Deep learning
• Upgrading of the devices in the field
• Workflows with hospital and lab systems
• Custom apps and dashboards for medical professionalsto provide opportunities for best-in-class service to our customers.

Your key responsibilities

As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will work in an agile environment to:

• Take ownership and lead building components of the Vitestro Cloud and device integrations with other systems.
• Support other departments/teams of Vitestro with the cloud applications and DevSecOps workflows by sparring with engineers from other disciplines.
• Spread your cloud knowledge and mentor/coach others.
• Work outside your comfort zone, innovate, and introduce novel technologies and tools.
• Develop solutions suitable for the medical industry: patient safety, security, and compliance are essential.

Requirements

What you will bring

• Ability to solve complex problems
• A passion for the cloud and 5 years of experience working in the cloud
• Strong experience (> 3 years) in building cloud platforms on AWS
• Solid technical knowledge in multiple areas, such as networking, security, containerization, data management, and DevSecOps
• Infrastructure as code knowledge (Terraform / Pulumi / AWS CDK)
• CI/CD tools and DevSecOps workflows (GitLab CI, Datadog, Azure AD, Okta, etc.)
• Implementation of security capabilities like security monitoring and vulnerability management for public cloud and SaaS tools
• Experience with Python and scripting (Bash/Powershell
