Provides technical support in the selection of suppliers. Develops acceptance criteria for materials.  Monitors supplier performance to drive supplier corrective action, manufacturing yield issues and field failures.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>Key Roles &amp; Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assess potential new suppliers for technical, quality and manufacturing capabilities. Provides technical support for the introduction of components from a new supplier.</li> <li>Generates and maintains incoming inspection procedures.</li> <li>Assists in generating component specifications.</li> <li>Approve qualification test protocols/reports and approve components for use in products.</li> <li>Provide input to Design Engineering on new component technology and assist in component selection with quality and reliability analysis.</li> <li>Analyses incoming material defects. Dispositions and drives corrective action as necessary. Communicates issues to suppliers.</li> <li>Reviews new design specifications and provides input from component quality and manufacturability perspective.</li> <li>Investigates field failures related to supplier materials. Develop corrective action plan where necessary.<br/>  </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Education &amp; Experience:</p> <ul> <li>In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.</li> <li>Assures that appropriate resources (personnel, tools, etc.) are maintained in order to assure Quality System compliance and adherence to the BSC Quality Policy.</li> <li>Establishes and promotes a work environment that supports the Quality Policy and Quality System.</li> <li>An ability to demonstrate high standards of leadership and cultivate business relationships </li> <li>Strong Problem Solver </li> <li>A demonstrated track record in Project Management Skills</li> <li>Min 3-5 years of experience working in a regulated environment (Automotive, Medical Devices or Pharmaceutical)</li> <li>Coaching and development- team succession planning</li> <li>Minimum Bachelor’s degree from accredited university in Science or Engineering<br/>  </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>About us</p> <p>Purpose and Passion – Comprehensive Benefits – Life-Work Integration – Career Growth</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>At Boston Scientific, you will find a collaborative culture driven by a passion for innovation that keeps us connected on the most essential level.
