Description
Position Summary:
University Housing & Dining is seeking Food Service Supervisor position to join the Retail Operations Team, specifically in our Street Hawk food truck. Under general supervision, provides supervision for operations and service employees in the distribution of foods.
University Dining’s goal at Iowa is to provide wholesome, healthy, and tasty foods prepared daily to meet the dietary and nutritional needs of our students. Our staff is committed to providing sustainable products and services that protect our natural resources. When possible, we purchase locally grown and sustainable foods from our vendors.
Shift for opening:
Monday-Friday 7:00 AM-3:30 PM with occasional overtime.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
1. High school graduation or equivalent and two years of directly related food distribution experience; or
2. Any equivalent combination of post high school education and experience providing a knowledge or background in institutional food service distribution.
Desirable Qualifications:
· Serve Safe Certified
· Proficient in counting and inventory management and office support
· 1 year of cooking experience
· Knowledgeable in care and maintenance of food prep areas
· Creative, innovative and self-motivated individual with strong commitment to teamwork and customer service
