Responsibilities
Draper is seeking a logistics assistant to help the shipping, receiving, and tracking of the strategic flight hardware that we are required to repair and rework.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Responsible for material check-in and disbursement from program bonded stores.
- Determine methods and procedures on new assignments. Be informal team coordinator as needed to implement these tasks.
- Shipping/freight including filling out and processing shipping/receiving paperwork.
- Moving electronic assemblies within the Draper facility including filling out and processing tracking paperwork.
- Scheduling photography or other support functions as needed for documentation of hardware processes and/or inspection.
- Ensuring proper execution of all required documentation/tracking activities, including:
- Program-specific checklists.
- Hardware travelers – both paper and using Epicor software.
- Hardware inspection checklist.
- Any additional Trident and/or Draper quality documentation related to strategic asset moves.
- Other responsibilities:
- Using the custom database to update status and logistics coordination.
- Communicating regularly with task leader and program leadership on task activities and status.
- Working with property department for yearly audit, supporting annual classified hardware inventory per government requirement.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Strong professional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate and work across Draper departments, especially during high pressure and urgent situations.
- Responsiveness required for all aspects of communication.
- Ability to communicate across platforms including: phone, text, email, MS Teams or similar electronic messaging and virtual system.
- Demonstrates good judgement in all aspects of planning and communicating.
- Strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with classified inventory control.
- Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Material Resource Planning.
- Experience with team leadership is a plus.
Security Clearance:
