Senior Engineer

Opportunity Overview:  Senior Engineer – Contract - Remote

 

WECTEC Staffing/Westinghouse has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Engineer for Emergency Response planning and development services.  The ideal candidate will have extensive operating plant experience and will work on a variety of current and future projects.  Primary responsibility will be reviewing deliverables to ensure they meet the quality and technical standards expected by our customers.  

 

What your day-to-day looks like:  

 

• Provide valuable insights into Emergency Response preparations. 
• Provide mentorship to younger engineers and assist with their development into capable and trained resources. 
• As needed by the Engineering Services team, the Senior Engineer will interact with site technical and project resources during project meetings and deliverable reviews. 
• Support Emergency Response planning and exercises.

 

What we need to see from you:

 

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering discipline is required, preferably electrical.
• 10 - 15 years of applicable experience required
• SRO Experience is preferred.
• Experience with Electrical Maintenance and Work Management
• Outage work management experience
• Extensive operating plant experience combined with a background in electrical work management.
• Strong knowledge of AP913 and AP928 Processes
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of Tools
• Knowledge of 10 CFR 50.69 is a plus.
