Job Description
On the Global Manufacturing and Supply (GMS) team at Takeda, you’ll be part of a rapidly transforming industry that’s applying technology and data in new ways. Job Description:
- Review the overall process of the manufacturing site and find ways to more efficiently work and produce our products. Work with trained AGILE Champions and Six Sigma experts.
- Creation of qualification matrix tracking team members qualification in manufacturing process, analysis tool for employee training completion
- Development of AR training guide for manufacturing teams, assess the limitations and benefits of training guide
- Participate and lead Future Ready Talks to educate employees on data and digital capabilities

This internship is ideal for students who are passionate about discovering where data can add value and turning insights into actionable decisions to make a tangible difference within an organization.
Job Requirements:
- This position will be Fully Onsite and require 4+ days in the Thousand Oaks office per week.
- Must be pursuing a Degree in a Business or Business-Excellence related major
- Exposure to operational excellence concepts such as Lean and Six Sigma a plus
- Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 25 lb s.
- Combination of sedentary work and standing/walking observation
- Basic understanding of computer skills including MS Office (PowerPoint, Words, Excel)
- Internet skills including use of e-mails, group messaging and information gathering
- Highly reliable and a strong team player
- Flexible with an attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Internship Eligibility
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship
- Must be currently enrolled in a degree program graduating December 2025 or later
- The internship program is 10-12 weeks depending on the two start dates (June 2nd- August 29th) or (June 16th - August 22nd)
- The intern must be able to commit to one of these time frames
- Able to work full time 40 hours a week during internship dates
- Takeda does not provide a housing stipend or relocation support for the U.S Summer Internship Program
