Our client, an international manufacturing company, is seeking a Senior Accountant for their Gainesville, GA office.
Job Duties:Assist in preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements, and monthly and quarterly internal reportsPrepare journal entries to support month-end close processAssist in maintaining the general ledger and all accounting transactionsReconcile assigned accounts and investigate variancesAssist in identifying improvements/efficiencies relating to internal controls and the accounting processesResearch year to year account fluctuations and communicate resultsProvide assistance during the annual audit by gathering requested documentationRecord member-related receivables and commissions receivablePerform other tasks, as needed, within the department
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience
