Summary
Seeking a multi-disciplinary candidate to perform Logistics engineering. Logistics Engineer responsibility is to evaluate system design for reliability, maintainability, supportability, and system safety, and make recommendations for improvement where deficiencies are found.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform Reliability / Maintainability analysis and predictions to ensure training devices meet Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF), Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), and training device availability requirements.
Plans, develops, executes, and reviews integrated logistics support plans/records, logistics support analysis plans, safety/hazmat program plans, reliability/maintainability/availability program plans and other logistic type documentation e.g., ILSP, LMI, ASPK, RSPL, EIR, TECD, SFT, TES, RM test reports, TTEL, EDFP, parts lists, and other logistics/provisioning/maintenance planning documentation
Develop technical solutions for Reliability, Maintainability or System safety problems.
Identify required spare quantities to meeting MTBF, MTTR, and training device availability requirements.
Provides mentorship to junior Logistics Management Specialist and Contractor Logistics Support Specialist.
Work with hardware engineering in the performance of failure analysis including part replacement recommendations.
Reviews field support requirements and recommends tool and test equipment
Establishes calibration requirements for field systems/equipment including all maintenance tasks
Creates and presents logistics material at both internal and external design reviews, meetings, and conferences. May include agendas and minutes.
Reviews handbooks for technical adequacy
Assists in the development of maintenance engineering and logistics support
Plans and contributes to proposal efforts.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Sciences.
5+ years of direct Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) experience.
Complete understanding and wide application of Reliability, Maintainability or System Safety technical principles, theories, and concepts with emphasis on hardware systems.
