Rise to the challenge of shaping the future of an evolving business in the technology space.</span></span><span> </span></p><p><span> </span></p><p><b><span>ABOUT THE ROLE</span></b></p><p><span><span>AstraZeneca is looking for a</span><span> Senior Scientist or</span><span> </span><span>Associate Director data engineer</span><span> to join the </span><span>Predictive AI &amp; Data</span><span> team</span><span>. </span><span>T</span><span>his role</span><span> will </span><span>be </span><span>responsible for</span><span> delivering fit-for-purpose solut</span><span>ions to our CPSS </span><span>(</span><span>Clinical Pharmacology &amp; Safety Science) colleagues, using enterprise inf</span><span>rastru</span><span>c</span><span>ture and technology, where possible, aligned with </span><span>AZ’s “</span><span>Bold Amb</span><span>ition” </span><span>initiative</span><span> </span><span>for 2030.</span></span><span> </span></p><p><span> </span></p><p><span><span>The role will include receiving requirements from stakeholders, designing solutions that meet those requirements, leading the delivery (including test and release) of those solutions, </span><span>and collaborating closely with our colleagues in R&amp;D IT for the handover into BAU service</span><span>.  </span><span>You will collaborate with colleagues across the globe, </span><span>predominantly with</span><span> our colleagues in Sweden, the </span><span>U</span><span>nited </span><span>K</span><span>ingdom,</span><span> and</span><span> the U</span><span>nited </span><span>S</span><span>tates of America</span><span>.</span></span><span> </span></p><p><span> </span></p><p><b><span>ESSENTIAL SKILLS &amp; EXPERIENCE REQUIRED</span></b></p><ul><li><p><span><span>You will have delivery experience across key elements of the data and analytics domain.</span></span><span> </span></p></li><li><p><span><span>You will need great interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to delivery</span><span> </span><span>and the ability</span><span> to communicate effectively </span><span>with different </span><span>audiences (</span><span>written and spoken</span><span>)</span><span> </span><span>in English</span><span>.</span></span><span> </span></p></li><li><p><span><span>You will be able to </span><span>demonstrate</span><span> an ability to understand business needs and translate them into a solution.</span></span><span> </span></p></li><li><p><span><span>You must have strong analytical and data manipulation abilities.</span></span><span> </
