These values are our foundation! </p><h3>Description</h3><p>We are looking for a user-focused Senior Product Designer to shape and elevate the Sinch Mailjet experience. In this role, you will own the end-to-end design process, collaborating with product and engineering teams to create functional, intuitive, and user-validated experiences that drive both customer satisfaction and business success. You will play a pivotal role in advancing product innovation in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><p><strong>Collaborate Across Teams</strong></p><ul> <li>Support a newly formed Product and Engineering pod in expanding Mailjet’s focus on integrations and embedded/white-label features while also contributing to other areas of the product.</li> <li>Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, and fellow Designers to analyze the performance of features, brainstorm, draft, and refine workable design solutions. </li> <li>Communicate clearly and effectively, ensuring annotated and well-organized design files are handed off to the development team for smooth implementation and final output. </li> <li>Collaborate openly in a cross-functional, global environment, incorporating feedback from team members and stakeholders across time zones. </li> <li>Take ownership of projects, working independently to clearly articulate complex ideas and drive them forward with minimal supervision in a technical product environment.</li> </ul><p><strong>Deliver Exceptional Design Execution</strong></p><ul> <li>Own the complete design process, from ideation to implementation, ensuring UX solutions align with user needs, product requirements, and business objectives. </li> <li>Apply expertise of suitable UX/UI patterns, scalability and performance considerations, foundational design principles, industry standards, design trends, and accessibility (A11Y) considerations to create functional, inclusive, and user-centered design solutions. </li> <li>Present and communicate your design concepts through narrative presentations, screen recordings, user flows, wireframes, mocks, and prototypes in both low- and high-fidelity to effectively convey potential solutions. </li> <li>Interpret product requirements with minimal guidance, building a deep understanding of complex problems to craft elegant solutions. </li> <li>Contribute to the development and evolution of a design system, ensuring consistent user experiences across product features by using a shared set of patterns and components. </li> </ul><p><strong>Lead User-Centered Design</strong></p><ul> <li>Plan and conduct user research by engaging with users and analyzing usage data to identify opportunities for improvement based on user behavior and interactions.</li> <li>Ensure all designs are supported by customer and data-driven insights.</li> </ul><h3>Basic Requirements </h3><ul> <li>6+ years of relevant work experience</li> <li>Extensive experience in Figma, including creating and maintaining design system components.</li> <li>A strong portfolio of work and case studies that demonstrate a clear UX design process with comprehensive problem solving that has optimally met user needs, product requirements, and delivered on business objectives.</li> <li>Strong proficiency in prototyping, user research, and usability testing to validate and refine design decisions.</li> </ul><h3>Preferred Qualification</h3><ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field.</li> <li>Familiarity with Agile and Lean design processes, and experience using JIRA and Confluence.</li> <li>Prior experience working with email or within the CPaaS (Communications Platform as a Service) space.</li> <li>Fluency in English is required, while proficiency in French is preferred for team collaboration.</li> </ul><h3><strong>Our Values</strong></h3><p>At Sinch we “Dream Big”, “Win Together”, “Keep it simple” and “Make it Happen”.
