The Senior Database Analyst will be responsible for managing and analyzing complex databases to support business operations. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining database systems, optimizing performance, and ensuring data integrity. This role will be responsible for implementing and managing electronic data interchange (EDI) processes within the organization. This role is also responsible for confining the ERP software, supporting users, and ensuring that the system aligns with the business processes and needs. 

As a Senior Database Analyst, you will:

 Database -

• Design and implement database systems to support business applications. 

• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to database structures and data models.

• Collaborate with software developers and IT teams to integrate databases with applications. 

• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, implementing necessary improvements. 

• Ensure data security and compliance with regulations. 

• Create and maintain SQL queries

• Read and understand ERDs (entity relationship diagram)

• Be able to work with the business to locate data and retrieve data for reporting, and troubleshooting

• Work with 3rd party data sourcing partners and oversee the day to day function of the data source

ERP & Various Business Systems -

• Configure the ERP software to meet specific needs of various departments. 

• Provide technical support and training to users, ensuring they effectively utilize the ERP and various business systems. 

• Analyze business processes and workflows to identify areas of improvement and help implement solutions. 

• Develop and maintain documentation related to system confirmations, and processes. 

• Assist with the interface and implementation of ancillary systems

To be considered for a Senior Database Analyst role, you need:

• This knowledge is typically acquired through a 4-year university degree and at least 3 years of prior relevant experience.

• Relevant experience Includes: strong understanding of ERP systems, FTP Connectivity Knowledge, basic understanding of Linux, basic understanding and knowledge of EDI.

• Excellent analytical skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively across all departments.
