  Mainline Technician Job Responsibilities


Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical vehicle concerns
Perform engine, transmission, suspension, brake, and drivability repairs
Complete recalls, warranty repairs, and manufacturer‑specific services
Accurately document repair orders and diagnostic findings
Use manufacturer diagnostic tools and service information
Follow Hyundai repair standards and dealership procedures
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Collaborate with service advisors and other technicians

QualificationsMainline Technician Qualifications


Minimum 2 years mainline technician experience required
Hyundai certification strongly preferred (or willingness to obtain)
Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills
Ability to work efficiently in a flat‑rate environment
Commitment to quality repairs and customer satisfaction
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Professional, dependable, and team‑oriented attitude
Provide own tools and diagnostic equipment


Corporate requirements: Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
