<p></p><p><strong>Beyond</strong> is a technology consultancy helping organizations thrive in a rapidly changing world.</p><p></p><p>We build, modernize, scale, and operationalize technology, creating <strong>Cloud and AI solutions</strong> to unlock productivity and drive customer growth.</p><p></p><p>As a <strong>Senior Java Engineer</strong> at Beyond, you’ll:</p><p></p><ul> <li>Design, develop, and maintain high-throughput <strong>Java</strong> applications.</li> <li>Collaborate with external teams to integrate newly developed features.</li> <li>Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.</li> <li>Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs in existing applications.</li> <li>Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.</li> <li>Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from planning to testing and deployment.</li> </ul><p></p><p><strong>Things that will make you stand out:</strong></p><p></p><ul> <li><strong>8+ years of experience in developing large-scale Java systems.</strong></li> <li>Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.</li> <li>Experience with message-based systems, AMQP in particular.</li> <li>Experience creating and optimizing RESTful APIs.</li> <li>Experience with cloud-based datastores and databases.</li> <li>Knowledge of version control systems like Git and CI/CD processes.</li> <li>Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.</li> <li>Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.</li> </ul><p></p><p>Having been named among the Sunday Times Best 100 Companies, we believe culture plays a large role in what we offer as an organization.
