The Wexner Medical Center Gabbe Wellbeing Office serves the employees and learners of the Wexner Medical Center and College of Medicine. The Gabbe Wellbeing Office Program Coordinator will play a major role in the execution of Gabbe Wellbeing Office wellbeing programs and events. The Program Coordinator will work closely with leadership within the Gabbe Wellbeing Office, Director for OSU Integrative Medicine, and other members of leadership teams that may sponsor an initiative.
Position Summary:
At the direction of the Wexner Medical Center Gabbe Wellbeing Office Leadership team, the Program Coordinator will round on units and at Central Ohio ambulatory sites with the Wellness Cart both proactively and by request to offer employees and learners the opportunity to take a break, enjoy a treat, learn about current programs, activities, and wellness opportunities at OSUWMC/COM, and engage in casual conversation that supports a culture of wellbeing. The Program Coordinator will also be trained to assist with facilitation of the Gabbe Wellbeing Office sponsored Mindfulness in Motion (MIM 30) Program that is offered to OSUWMC/COM employees and learners. Other activities include participating on various committees to support wellbeing work across the organization, engaging in training to become a Brief Emotional Support Team (BEST) peer supporter through the OSU Stress, Trauma and Resilience (STAR) Program, participating in orientation to become a Buckeye Wellness Innovator (BWI) for the organization, and hosting tables at wellness fairs and/or giving presentations as needed to share wellbeing resources. While this is primarily a 1st shift position, the person in this role will occasionally round in the evenings to serve 2nd and 3rd shift employees as well.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee must be able to:

Work Environment:
