We are seeking a Chief Quality Manager to join our team in San Francisco, CA.

How will you contribute to the team?  

  • Manage the quality control processes for client deliverables to achieve a quality product that meets the requirements of the various client project scopes.

  • Achieve quality assurance operational objectives by managing projects and teams delivering validation of information and analysis on strategic audits and reviews; reviewing and approving Gap analysis and audit plans; identifying and resolving problems; completing audits when required; development and implementation of a QMS and system solutions, and training or directing the training of Client staff.

  • Validate Supplier quality management systems utilizing established procedures for validating client procedures; documenting evidence; determining operational and performance qualification; writing and updating quality assurance procedures.

  • Manage a project and/or project team to deliver quality inspections compliance assessments, and staff interviews; vendor assessments; collaborating with other members of management to develop new means and methods and training procedures.

  • Plan and participate in visits to various field, offsite, vendor, manufacturing facilities, and office locations.

  • Prepare detailed Project estimates and proposals and leading client proposals and business development meetings.

  • Prepare project commercial reviews and risk assessment for business opportunities.

  • Involved in developments in quality management and compliance standards within the industry; participates in educational opportunities; maintaining professional networks and participating in professional organizations.

  • Participates in Business Development and client engagement activities; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

  • Other responsibilities include monitoring the overall QA system for effectiveness and compliance to all system and procedures as well as Client requirements.

  • Preparing and revising internal system procedures to maintain compliance with relevant quality system standards.

  • May perform such other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.

  • Work involves coordination, research and problem solving on a variety of projects with unique or controversial problems, the solution of which has an important effect on major organization programs.

  • Supervision received is essentially administrative, with assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits.

  • Acts independently on technical matters.

  • Supervises and/or coordinates with other senior technical and support staff.

  • What will you contribute?  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Facilities Management, Construction Management or Business Management, Engineering or Technical field required plus a minimum of fifteen years’ experience in the field of quality control. Master’s degree preferred. Without a degree, twenty years of related experience in the field of quality control.
