The Shakopee School District is seeking an LPN/Health Assistant subsitute. If you enjoy helping children to be the healthiest they can be then working in a school health office is for you! You will have a positive impact on the health and wellness of students in your care.
Job Summary:
Work in the health office to provide immediate first aid to injured students and respond to the health needs of sick students. Provide first aid response to students with significant health needs, administer daily medication and treatments. Monitor for immunization compliance, assist in hearing and vision screening follow-up, and the maintenance of health records for all students. May complete other clerical duties related to the health and wellness of students.
Qualifications:
Requires LPN license and CPR certification. Previous experience working with students preferred.
Working Conditions:
Classroom environment, nurse's office.
Ability to safey lift up to 50 pounds.
