About the role

Work for the IMF. Work for the World.

Since 1964, the Fiscal Affairs Department (FAD) of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has provided expertise on fiscal policy and management. Working closely with the management of FADRM, the Economist/Sr Economist will contribute to a wide-range of projects and activities, including: (i) supporting the implementation of the FAD CD Strategy, with a special focus on CD governance and administration and CD financing architecture; (ii) contributing to strengthening the department’s procedures for financial and operational controls; (iii) leveraging data to analyze and contribute to the internal dialogue on resource allocation and performance; (iv) compiling and analyzing data on FAD outputs; and (v) reviewing and participating in Fund-wide initiatives on corporate and CD matters, including resource mobilization and communication.
