Description
Responsible for achieving Profitable Parts Sales Growth and Assuring Customer Satisfaction as the dedicated “inside” parts representative for select Lakeside International parts customers. Also serves as the Diamond Connection Specialist, monitoring and updating the Diamond Connection Solution System.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as key “inside” parts contact for select Lakeside International parts customers.
- Promote sales of “All-Makes” parts to assigned customers
- Collect freight charges from customers when applicable
- Promote Lakeside customer events (Open House, Luncheons, Training events, etc.)
- Accurate core management / reporting on all assigned customers. Includes sending out “Cores Owed” report to customers monthly
- Minimum (5) outbound telemarketing calls to assigned customers daily. Tracked on daily call report.
- Minimum of 50% of assigned customers submitting orders electronically (Diamond Solutions, email, fax, etc.)
- Promptly answer all incoming Fleet Room customer calls and returning messages
- Timely and accurate part number research, quoting, ordering, invoicing, and delivery
- Maintain daily call report recapping both inbound and outbound customer contacts. Report submitted daily via email
- Complete all required training
- Develop sales tracking and other measurement systems to track results in quota/sales objective areas
- Proactively monitor sales to assigned customers. Suggest and implement strategies to profitably increase business
- Maintain a complete, accurate and timely professional file on each customer.
- Collect competitive pricing information
- Promptly administer customer returns
- Adhere to department / company policies and procedures
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Parts experience in truck or automotive or aftermarket environment.
Ability to communicate well.
Strong computer skills.
