Fund Balance with Treasury (FBwT) ITGC Sr. Consultant

We are seeking a Fund Balance with Treasury ITGC Sr. Consultant to join our program supporting the US Army. Work will be performed on a hybrid basis with onsite support required 3-5 days per week in Tysons Corner and/or Arlington, VA. In this role you will work with a multi-disciplinary team of accountants and tech consultants to optimize the Army’s control environment for Fund Balance w/ Treasury (FBwT). These efforts include, designing technology risk controls over FBwT, enhancing existing controls, and documenting ongoing risk assessment. The ability to understand business processes with accounting/financial statement implications and evaluate the underlying tech risks is imperative to the job function. 

Required Skills & Experience

• Active Secret security clearance
• Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or Business Management or CPA or CISA or PMP or CGFM or CDFM
• 4 years of experience with federal financial management
• 2 years of federal accounting experience
• 6+ years Information Security experience
• CISA certification
• Must be a strong team player and have excellent written and verbal communication skills around information assurance and security relating to IT general controls (ITGCs) and IT application controls (ITACs). Requires information security and compliance knowledge and experience to determine acceptable levels of information security risks. Comfortable speaking directly to the client without Manager oversight.
• Experience with process improvement initiatives.
