Who we are lookig for

Purpose

Serve as a vital gatekeeper to the US Shared Value & Sustainability (SV&S).  Promote the SV&S mindset across the Chiesi USA organization to further the impact on patients, customers, employees, community, and the planet.  Act as the main point of contact in the US for the Global SV&S teams in Parma, Italy to ensure local plans are executed effectively and aligned with global strategy.

Main Responsibilities

• Promote the Shared Value & Sustainability (SV&S) mindset across the Chiesi USA organization ensuring shared value approach is embedded into business objectives and processes. 
• Define and support local sustainability governance and processes, including evaluation and coordination of local impact committees/other relevant sustainability committees and periodical reporting on SV&S topics to LT.
• Coordinate sustainability processes at local level, including local impact management and B Corp certification-related activities such as annual BIA (B Impact Assessment) update, 3-year B Corp improvement plan definition, implementation and monitoring and local re-certification activities coordination (audit participation every 3 years, ensuring the collection of all the evidence and the documents supporting the answers provided within the BIA).
• Prioritize local resource planning and actions by analyzing local impact of the global plans in conjunction with current and future business goals.
• Collect, check and organize the sustainability data collection process at affiliate level. Act as a reference point for all affiliate colleagues involved in the data collection (e.g. emissions, water, waste); liaise with Finance and other corporate departments for data check and management; establish periodic reporting on key sustainability data to LT. 
• Act as potential spokesperson on SV&S alongside leadership in the local communities
• Act as the main point of contact for the global SV&S team to represent the Chiesi USA voice as well as liaise between the global team and the affiliate to ensure smooth local implementation of global plans.
• Ensure adequate coordination with other key internal stakeholders or other countries/offices (eg. Canada or Boston), according to local/global plans and activities.
