Finance Senior Analyst, M&A and Ventures

Fitch Group is currently seeking a Finance Senior Analyst based out of our New York office.

The Finance Senior Analyst will work closely with Fitch’s M&A and Ventures teams to identify and evaluate potential acquisition / investment targets that align with Fitch’s strategic objectives, aid the investment underwriting process, and assist in managing merger value creation activities and the venture portfolio.

We’ll Count on You To:

• Help identify acquisition / investment opportunities that align with Fitch’s strategic interests and objectives
  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis to deliver actionable insights regarding industry trends, key competitive movements, and internal and external developments that impact M&A and investment decisions
  • Help develop dealflow pipeline of potential acquisitions and venture investments
  • Organize M&A pipeline activities, manage due diligence data rooms, process deal execution documents, and coordinate due diligence and integration activities
  • Track venture investments by peer funds and investment activities on a global scale
• Contribute to investment evaluation and underwriting processes
  • Build and maintain robust financial, operating, and valuation models to evaluate and support potential transactions, including sensitivity, returns and market sizing analyses
  • Create high-quality presentation materials for senior leadership and key stakeholders
  • Compile relevant market research, including synthesis of expert and customer interviews
• Support and monitor acquisition integrations and venture portfolio
  • Help manage integration and value creation activities for acquired businesses
  • Work with portfolio companies to understand and support their priorities / needs
  • Monitor portfolio performance and help prepare quarterly portfolio review presentations
  • Assist with commercial / partnership opportunities between Fitch Group and portfolio companies
