We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Cashier to join our team in Birmingham, AL. As a Cashier at Messa Sync, you will be responsible for handling transactions accurately and efficiently while providing friendly and attentive service to our customers. Your role will be critical in maintaining the flow of our front-line operations and ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities:

• Process customer purchases, returns, and exchanges accurately using a point-of-sale (POS) system

• Handle cash, credit/debit transactions, and receipts with precision

• Greet and assist customers in a courteous and helpful manner

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area

• Ensure pricing is accurate and promotional materials are up to date

• Report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor promptly

• Follow company policies and procedures for security and transaction handling

• Collaborate with team members to support store operations

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service preferred

• Strong math and communication skills

• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Professional appearance and attitude

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems
