POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Coordinator, Customer Marketing is responsible for the day-to-day execution of comprehensive email marketing and mobile campaigns to drive sales, brand perception, and overall customer engagement for North America Ecommerce, Full Price, and Outlet channels.
This position will lead the execution of marketing emails and mobile messages, support tracking key metrics on an ongoing basis, and track key competitors and industry best practices. This position will identify growth opportunities for email and mobile campaigns, recommend improvements, and act on insights. The Senior Coordinator, Customer Marketing must be able to react quickly to support business needs, determine daily activities, adapt to last-minute changes, and manage several deliverables on parallel, tight deadlines.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the end-to-end process for email marketing – all creative briefs, including robust storytelling and asset/copy direction, deployment details, promotions/messaging, PDP content, linking strategy, proof review, QA, and versioning for testing/segmentation.
- Ensure all changes to business promotion and content calendars are reflected in customer-marketing channels accurately and in a timely manner.
- Hands on experience with QA process, testing of email proofs pre-deployment, striving for 100% accuracy within email content and target audience(s). Experience with email QA tools (Email on Acid, Litmus, Inbox Monster) a plus.
- Manage the coordination and delivery of email campaign assets in Project Management Tool (e.g., Asana), including creative, linking strategy, deployment details, subject lines, preheaders, disclaimers, audience, asset tagging, and version management.
- Oversee execution of basic end-to-end email tests (A/B, multivariate) for messaging creative, subject lines, deployment time, audience segmentation, etc.
- Lead the creation of content for email reporting/presentations, including preparation of business reviews and competitive analysis/marketing research
- Sustain strong collaborative relationships with cross-functional partners across internal teams and with external partners
- Work closely with brand marketing team to coordinate digital collateral of seasonal buy sheet, including creative content, usage, product ownership, date of availability, and product information to be utilized by both marketing and creative teams; working with the Ecommerce team, provide clear guidance on product details and imagery that can be used to support the business via email.
- Communicate with the creative team and PM to ensure all email assets are ready on time, approved by the business and briefed for coding on time. Proactively resolve problems and roadblocks in order to keep work flow on schedule and escalate higher level conflicts to manager for resolution.
- Align with the Ecommerce team on email linking strategy; ensure pricing/promotions are accurate, and obtain business approval for deployments
- Lead the coordination of mobile marketing campaigns, journeys, capture locations, deployment, and reporting in platform
- Support Manager, Customer Marketing in designing strategy and calendars for email and mobile program
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience: 3-4 years of relevant experience
- Must have experience writing detailed email marketing briefs, including aspects like clear creative inspiration, strong product focus, clear copy perspective, evocative storytelling, and best-practices for email engagement.
- Must have experience planning and executing email and/or mobile marketing campaigns from concept to QA and deployment.
- Experience supporting multiple purchase channels (Ecommerce, Full Price, Outlets) a plus.
- Experience with email marketing is required, and experience with mobile marketing (SMS/MMS) is a plus.
