Security Mobile & Foot Patrol Officer – Full Time

Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Rate: $18.00/HR

Shift: Graves / Overnights Available

Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Mobile Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, which may include operating a vehicle to patrol. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

The Mobile Officer maintains the security and safety of multiple sites by conducting patrols via a motor vehicle. All you need is a valid driver’s license and clean driving history, to be a great fit for this role! No experience? No problem! With a friendly and positive attitude we will provide the training and knowledge you need to be successful in the security industry. 

Essential Functions:

• Checking for locked / unlocked doors
• Reporting suspicious activity
• Responding to urgent incidents
• Maintaining a good relationship with client and customers

Position Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older 
• High School Diploma or GED Required 
• Intermediate computer / technology skills needed due to use of tablet, computer, or smartphone
• Must be reliable, accountable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic
• Must have a strong grasp of appropriate and professional verbal / written communication
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus
• Customer service background preferred 
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner
• Must be able to conduct internal / external foot and mobile patrols throughout shift during various weather conditions
• Must have great attention to detail 
• Must be comfortable conducting access control duties  
• Colorado Driver's License and a clean driving record required due to mobile patrols
• Successful candidates will work well with the general public, co-workers, and client contacts
• Must be comfortable handling issues/concerns with transient individuals
• Must be able to adhere to client required post orders
• Must be able to remain calm during high stress situations and defer to emergency services in accordance with post orders
• Must have reliable personal vehicle
