Lids Sports Group is the largest licensed sports retailer in North America, selling fan and fashion-oriented headwear and apparel across the US, Canada, Mexico, Europe, and Australia. Operating out of Indianapolis, IN, our retail stores offer officially licensed headwear and apparel from collegiate and professional sports teams, plus top brands like Nike, New Era, Adidas, and Mitchell & Ness.
We currently operate 1,200+ locations domestically and 50+ internationally, including specialty concept stores for the NBA, NHL, Paris Saint-Germain, and numerous MLB teams. In recent years, Lids has built partnerships with iconic global brands including Marvel, Playboy, and the Harlem Globetrotters, and gained ambassadors like Justin Jefferson, Quavo, and Josephine Skriver – creating a community for both sports fans and fashion lovers.

General Position Summary

The Campaign Marketing Manager is integral to the planning and execution of cross-functional marketing deliverables and multichannel campaigns. Whether it’s communications for a new store opening, a new product collection, key sales moments, or pop-culture connections, you will orchestrate the people and pieces to produce successful Marketing output. Scoping, planning and follow-through that ensure projects are tracked and completed on-time and on-budget will be your core responsibilities. You will be expected to understand each project’s key elements, goals and drivers of success. Ultimately, you sit at the cross-roads of Marketing’s success.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead regularly scheduled project and campaign planning meetings
- Establish and manage execution of campaigns, including collaboration with key stakeholders to determine campaign priorities on a quarterly basis
- Manage complex projects from ideation to completion and post-project reporting
- Manage multiple campaigns at varying degrees of complexity and importance while ensuring projects remain on time and within budget
- Anticipate needs, hurdles and opportunities for improvement
- Be an expert power user of project management software, including Administrator duties
- Manage vendor communications
- Recommend project process and management improvements
Additional Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Keep all relevant parties informed of campaign progress & status
- Identify possible challenges and guide projects toward solutions
- Develop positive, collaborative working relationships across the Lids organization
- Act as a resource for all involved parties across pre-planning, planning, execution and post analysis
Job Required Knowledge & Skills
- Relevant professional Campaign, Brand Marketing or Project Management experience with accompanying bachelor’s degree
- Understands the bigger picture while also able to put those details into achievable, actionable goals
- Comfort with project management software and project management methodologies
- Ability to build positive, productive cross-functional relationships
- Can succeed in fast-paced, dynamically changing and ambiguous situations
Preferred Job Required Knowledge & Skills
- Communication that is clear and concise
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally/written in a clear, audible and grammatically correct manner
- 3+ years of full-time work experience in Project or Campaign Management
- Skilled at building automations with tools similar to Trello, Butler, Zapier, etc.
